CBSE Board Exams 2026

The  CBSE  Secondary School Examination 2026 (Class 10)  will begin on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and continue till March 18, 2026. Similarly, the  CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination 2026 (Class 12)  is scheduled to start on February 17, 2026, and conclude on April 4, 2026. CBSE also announced that this year an estimated  45 lakh candidates  are likely to appear for  204 subjects  across both classes 10 and 12. This would also include schools across India and 26 countries abroad, where CBSE has affiliated schools.

Please note:  Admissions open. Enrolments for ISC Class 11, and Higher Secondary Class 11 (WB) English Classes are now in progress. Those interested may either call, or contact in person.

Admission Current Session

Admissions to classes for grades 8 to 12 (ICSE / ISC / CBSE / WBBSE-WBCHSE English medium) at Sowmen Mitter's English Tutorial Classes are now going on. Both intensive and extensive practice sessions that Sowmen Mitter's classes have long been known for, helping stu dents build their language and allied construction skills remains the focus. Guardians of prospective candidates are requested to call, or contact Sowmen Mitter in person.

Closing for the festive vacation

This is for the information of all concerned that given the festivities that are to set in in Bengal in a few days' time, the academic centre at the SOWMEN MITTER Initiative for Language ENGLISH & Related Studies (SMILERS) will remain closed from 30th Sept. 2014 to 11th Oct. 2014. Classes as per normal will resume from 12th Oct. 2014 onwards.
